Shed Options, From The Doors Up

Every building leaves our McColl, SC plant on the same spec sheet. What changes is everything you pick on top of it. Doors, windows, colors, roof, porch, loft, power and interior finish. Here is the whole menu, with what comes standard and what costs extra.

01 / The Short Version

Standard means it is already in the price. Upgrade means it costs a little more. Premium only means the Select line does not offer it. Every option below wears one of those three labels, so you know what you are looking at before you call.

Standard

Built into the base price of the model. LP SmartSide siding, a metal roof in a standard color, a real door with a header over it.

Upgrade

Costs a little more and shows as its own line on the quote. Porches, lofts, electrical, upgrade colors, shingles on a single-slope roof.

Premium Only

Offered on the Premium Series, not on Select. Insulated windows, French doors, vinyl siding and architectural shingles.

The 3D design center covers most of this list and prices it as you click. A few things, like screened porches and custom color matching, get quoted by a rep. Prices below are the ones we publish. Everything else depends on the model, so we would rather quote it than guess.

03 / Colors & Finishes

Forty-Six Colors, Zero Guesswork

Standard colors are in the price. Upgrade colors cost a little more and your salesperson will show you the difference on the quote. Screen swatches are approximate, so look at a real sample on the lot before you commit. Custom color matching to a paint code is an upgrade. It is how we match a shed to a house in HOA neighborhoods around Raleigh and Charlotte.

05 / How Ordering Works

From Picking Options To Keys In Hand

01

Pick The Model And Size

Start from a style and a footprint. Width runs up to 16 feet and length up to 52. Barn roofs cap at 14 feet wide. Not sure which style? Start with every style we build.

02

Build It In 3D

The design center prices most options as you click and shows the building change in real time. Some interior items do not render, and a few things get quoted by a rep.

03

A Rep Finishes The Quote

Tax, delivery and setup and custom add-ons like screened porches get added when one of our reps picks it up. That is also when financing or rent-to-own comes into the conversation.

04

We Build It In McColl

In-stock buildings deliver in 7 to 10 days. Standard builds run 3 to 4 weeks. Custom builds with interior finish run 4 to 6 weeks. Every option gets built in at the plant, not bolted on in the yard.

05

Delivery And Setup

Free within 50 miles of any of our lots across the Carolinas and southern Virginia. We level it on blocks, anchor it where zoning requires and walk you through the building before we leave.

06 / Questions

Options FAQ

The questions our reps hear most when somebody is deciding what to put on the build sheet. Still stuck? Call Sales at (910) 634-3995.

Can I add options after the shed is delivered?
Some of them. Ask your salesperson about adding ramps or shelving down the road. Doors, windows, porches, lofts and electrical belong in the build, because they tie into the framing and the headers. Order them up front and they are built in, not bolted on.
Metal roof or shingles?
Metal is standard on every build and carries a 40-year manufacturer warranty. Shingles are Timberline architectural with a 25-year warranty. They cost nothing extra on barn and A-Frame roofs and run $250 on a single-slope roof. The Select Series is metal only.
Can you match my house color?
Yes, as an upgrade. Bring a paint code or a sample and we match it. When an HOA wants an exact match, vinyl siding in Dutch Lap or Traditional Lap on a Premium build is the other route.
How much does the electrical package cost?
It depends on which of the four packages you pick, Basic, Standard, Premium or Deluxe, and how you customize it. Get it quoted with the building. Electrical pulls its own permit on top of the building permit, so allow time for the inspection.
Does a porch count toward my footprint?
Yes. The porch comes out of the building's footprint instead of being added to the outside. A 12x24 porch model is 12x24 on the truck and on the permit. Plan your pad for the full size.
What options does the Select Series leave out?
Select keeps the same runners, joists and LP SmartSide siding as Premium and simplifies the rest. It is a metal roof build with no shingle option, no vinyl siding and no insulated windows. Electrical packages and the standard door, window and color menus are available on both lines. Anchors are $50 each on Select.
