Warranty Claim

Claims are handled in-house by our plant customer service team. Here's how to submit one.

Locate Your Paperwork

Find your original delivery paperwork and warranty documentation. You'll need the serial number or order number to submit a claim.

Take Photos

Photograph the issue clearly before calling or emailing. Multiple angles help Sandra and the repair team understand the scope before they dispatch someone.

Contact Sandra

Call or email Sandra Lockear at the plant. She'll review the issue, confirm warranty eligibility and coordinate the repair or replacement.

Repair Scheduled

Sandra schedules the repair with our crew. Most repairs are handled within 2–3 weeks depending on crew availability and parts lead time.

Warranty FAQ

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship - structural framing, roof system, doors, windows, floor, siding and finish. Damage from weather events, accidents, neglect or improper modification is excluded. LP SmartSide siding also carries an independent 50-year manufacturer warranty from LP Building Products.

Normal wear and tear, weather damage (wind, hail, flooding), vandalism, improper installation of customer-added modifications, damage caused by improper site prep or drainage and anything not classified as a material or workmanship defect. If you're unsure, call Sandra - she'll tell you straight.

Talk to Sandra for the specifics on your warranty. Warranty transferability varies by situation - call the plant and they'll confirm what applies to your building and the remaining coverage period.

Most warranty repairs are scheduled within 2–3 weeks of approval depending on crew availability and parts lead time. Sandra will give you an estimated timeframe when your claim is approved.
