Speedy Sheds is a new name with deep roots. Ownership got into the shed business in 2008, selling and delivering buildings for other people. Three years of hauling other manufacturers' sheds down Carolina back roads taught us what held up and what didn't. So in 2011 we started building them ourselves. Speedy Sheds launched in 2024 as our own brand, our own plant and our own dealer network. Same family, same crews, a name on the building we could stand behind.
Premium Build Standard
Premium buildings are engineered to 150 mph wind speeds, and we can pull stamped engineer prints for North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia certifying it. Ask for them when you order. The Select Series does not carry the engineered prints. LP SmartSide engineered siding with a 50-year manufacturer warranty. Kiln-dried 2×4 framing at 16" on center. Doubled studs every 4 feet at siding seams. Real headers above every door and window.

Premium
Our flagship build, engineered to take a beating and last. The standard we'd put on our own property.
- Engineered to 150 mph wind speeds, stamped engineer prints available for NC, SC, VA and GA on request
- 4×6 pressure-treated runners, notched an inch, with 2×6 floor joists set into the notch at 16" O.C. and a 4" Simpson hurricane screw at every joist
- 2×4 trusses at 24" O.C. with 6" Simpson hurricane screws through the top plate into every truss, OSB roof deck with synthetic underlayment, full-length soffit and screened ridge vents
- LP SmartSide siding (50-yr), Huber PerformMAX floor deck (25-yr, 206 psf)
- Mobile home anchors included with a standard setup where zoning requires them

The same bones as Premium with simplified framing. A genuinely solid build at a friendlier price.
- Same 4×6 treated runners & 2×6 floor joists as Premium, 16" O.C.
- LP SmartSide engineered-wood siding, 50-yr warranty
- Trusses at 4' O.C. with house wrap under a metal roof; metal roof only, no shingle option
- Gable-end louvered vents (Select has no overhang, so no soffit)
- Anchors available at $50 each, add them when you order
- Built to the same quality standards, priced to move
Little Speedy
One size, 6x12. The easiest building on the lot to place, and the fastest to get delivered.

Black-trim windows, single-slope rooflines, French entries, the modern aesthetic doesn't change the engineering. LP SmartSide siding, 16" O.C. wall studs, Huber PerformMAX floor: same Premium build under a different finish.
Customers using these as backyard offices, art studios and pool houses get the same engineered 150 mph wind speeds and warranty as the barn-style builds.
Workhorse Buildings,
Built To Last
Our most popular style. Lofted storage, wide doors, and the same 4×6 treated runner and 2×6 joist floor as every other Premium building. Trusses are 24" O.C. with 6" Simpson hurricane screws into every truss on both sides. Want the joists closer? 12" O.C. is available as an upgrade on any building we build, not just the Workshop.
