Shed Delivery and Setup
Across the Carolinas and Virginia
Free delivery and setup within 50 miles of any of our lots. In-stock buildings usually go out in 7 to 10 days, and next day in a lot of cases. Build orders run 3 to 4 weeks. We deliver it, set it on your block and level it before we leave.
How Delivery
Works
Order Is Placed
Your order enters the production queue at our McColl, SC plant. You'll receive an estimated production and delivery timeline at time of order.
You Prepare the Site
Before delivery day, clear the path and level your site. Requirements below, do this before the truck is scheduled or you risk a reschedule fee.
Dispatch Schedules Your Date
Once your building is finished and ready to go out, your local dispatcher takes over the schedule. Email dispatch@speedyshedscompany.com or send us a note through the contact form and we'll get you a delivery window.
Delivery Day
Our crew arrives, confirms placement with you and sets the building. A set runs anywhere from an hour to several hours, depending on the size of the building, how the site sits, how tight the access is and how high it has to be set. Our driver will give you a window when he calls ahead. Walk around the building with the crew before they leave.
Warranty Starts
Coverage begins on delivery day. Keep your delivery paperwork, you'll need it for any future warranty or repair submissions. See warranty details →
Where We Deliver
Delivery and setup are free within 50 miles of any Speedy Sheds location. Our lots run across the Carolinas and up into Virginia, and the routes between them cover a lot of ground, so most of the Carolinas and a good part of Virginia works out free.
Outside the Radius?
Call us anyway. We haul buildings all over this part of the country, and between our lot network and the trips we're already making, we can usually still get your building to you. Our sales team will look at your address and tell you what's possible before you commit to anything.
Or call our sales team at REUBEN TO CONFIRM: the customer-facing sales phone number to publish here.
How Soon Can
You Get It
In stock on a lot: 7 to 10 days, and in a lot of cases we can get it to you the next day. If you want it fast, start with what's already built.
Standard build orders: 3 to 4 weeks from the day you order.
Custom builds and finished-out units: 4 to 6 weeks. Interior finishing, French doors and insulated windows add time.
Build on site: 2 to 4 weeks, with the crew on your property one to three days.
These are the turnarounds we hit most of the time. Weather and how busy the plant is can move them a little, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.
What To Do
Before Delivery Day
A little prep prevents rescheduling. The truck can't maneuver around surprises.
Clear the Path
Our truck and trailer together can run over 75 feet long, so the driver needs room to get in, turn and back up. Give us 15 feet 6 inches of overhead clearance the whole way in, past wires, limbs and eaves. Going through a gate or between two trees, we need a foot of clearance on each side of the building. At the spot itself, leave 6 feet clear all the way around so the crew can work.
The ground needs to be dry. Mud, standing water and soft ground get trucks stuck, and a wet site can mean we have to come back another day.
Not sure your access works? Take a few photos of the gate, the driveway and the route to the spot and send them to your salesperson before you order. We'd rather figure it out now than at the curb.
Level the Site and Have Your Block Ready
Most buildings we deliver sit on concrete block. Standard setup is one block high at the high corner, using 4x8x16 solid concrete block, and you supply the block and have it on site before delivery day. Your salesperson figures out how many you need when you order, so there's no guessing.
A gravel pad or a concrete slab works too if that's what you'd rather build on.
Delivery, setup and leveling are included in the price. On our Premium series, so is anchoring where zoning requires it. We bring the labor, the equipment and the anchors. You bring the block and a spot that drains.
We can level across about 30 inches of fall from one end of the building to the other. More than that and the ground needs work first.
Anchoring
On our Premium series, mobile home anchors are included as part of a standard setup where zoning requires them. On Select buildings, anchors are $50 each and you can add them to your order. Anchoring is worth doing in high-wind areas and a lot of HOAs ask for it. Talk it through with your salesperson when you order so the crew shows up with what your site needs.
Mark Your Spot
Stake or spray paint the corners where you want the building set. The crew confirms with you, but having it marked saves time.
Call 811 First
Know where underground utilities are. 811 marks them for free. Required before digging any anchors or ground prep work.
Tight Access?
Call us before scheduling delivery day. We'd rather reschedule than damage your property. Serious access problems? Build-on-site may be the right solution.
Be Home
An adult must be present to confirm placement, walk the building with the crew and sign delivery paperwork. Can't be there? Call our dispatch team to coordinate.
When Hauling
Won't Work
Some lots can't accept a delivery truck. When that's the case, we bring the crew and materials to you instead.
Tight Gates or Driveways
If a finished building can't reach the spot, we build it there instead. Our crew brings the materials and puts it together on your property. Build on site starts at a $2,000 build fee on top of the building price, on cash and financed orders. See how build on site works →
Shed Moving
Need to relocate an existing building on your property? See our shed moving service for options.

Yes. An adult must be present on delivery day to confirm placement, walk the building and sign paperwork. If you can't be there, contact our dispatch team in advance to work out an alternative.
Concrete block is the standard. Standard setup is one block high using 4x8x16 solid concrete block, which you supply and have on site before we deliver. A gravel pad or a concrete slab works just as well. Whatever you go with, the spot needs to be firm, drain well and be within about 30 inches of level across the footprint.
