150 MPH Engineered Prints
Premium buildings are engineered to 150 mph wind speeds, and we can pull stamped engineer prints for North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia certifying it. Ask for them when you order. The Select Series does not carry the engineered prints.
50-Year Siding
LP SmartSide engineered wood standard. Vinyl available for HOA-required matches. Manufacturer warranty backs it.
Huber PerformMAX Flooring
5/8" engineered wood rated at 206 pounds per square foot. Commercially rated, with a 25-year manufacturer warranty. 2×6 joists at 16" on center.
Anchors Included
Mobile home anchors come standard on every Premium build. Set and leveled on your property by our delivery crew.

Measure Before You Plan The Inside
Our exterior dimensions are true, a 10x12 is 10 feet by 12 feet, measured overhang to overhang. The inside is smaller than that. The roof overhang, the wall framing and the siding all take their cut, and the wider the building, the more they take. That's true at every shed dealer, ours included.
If you're finishing the inside as an office, a studio or a shop, get the interior measurement from your salesperson before you buy cabinets, order flooring or draw a layout. It's a quick number for us to give you and it's the number your project actually runs on.
Where The Extra Money Actually Goes
The Same Bones, Then More
Both lines start from the same floor: 4x6 pressure-treated runners, 2x6 joists 16 inches on center, LP SmartSide siding on the outside, and the same crew at our McColl, SC plant. That part doesn't change. The Select Series proves it, a real building at an entry price. What the Premium upcharge buys is the frame: studs 16 inches on center instead of 24, a double interlocking top plate instead of a single, trusses every 2 feet instead of every 4, and a real OSB roof deck under the metal or shingle instead of house wrap. It's a heavier building, and it's the reason we can put engineered prints on it certifying 150 mph wind speeds.
That distinction matters when you're deciding how much to spend. If the shed lives behind the garage and holds a mower, Select does the job. If it sits where you and the neighbors see it every day, or you're finishing the inside into an office or studio, the Premium details earn their keep, they're the parts you notice for the next fifteen years.

Select comes in two models, the Select Utility A-frame and the Select Lofted Barn, both 8x12 through 12x24. Premium covers seventeen models across barn, A-frame and single-slope rooflines, from 8x8 up to 16x52.

The single biggest difference you'll feel day to day is the openings. Premium doors are wider, hung better and built to keep swinging true after thousands of cycles, the difference between a door that still latches clean in year ten and one that's dropped and drags. Upgraded windows bring in more light and seal tighter, which matters the moment you insulate the building. And the heavier trim package is what keeps the lines crisp and the corners tight, especially on styles like the modern shed where the whole look depends on straight, clean edges.

Any time the shed is becoming a room, a home office, a she shed, a studio, a tiny home, Premium is the tier that pays off. The tighter windows and better doors hold conditioned air, the upgraded build tolerates insulation and LP SmartSide wall sheathing without telegraphing every seam, and the finish work gives you a clean surface to build on. Spend it once, up front; retrofitting quality into a basic shell after the fact costs more and never quite matches.

Premium buildings are engineered to 150 mph wind speeds, and we have stamped engineer prints available for North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia certifying that. That's hurricane-country engineering on a storage building. It comes from the framing: studs 16 inches on center, a double interlocking top plate, trusses every 2 feet with 6-inch Simpson hurricane screws through the plate into both sides of every truss and mobile home anchors included. If your county wants the prints, tell us before the build and we'll get them to the permit office. Select builds are not covered by these prints.
Yes. We do insulation, interior wall sheathing in LP SmartSide, interior paint, LVP flooring, workbenches, shelving, cabinets and full office or flex-space layouts. We use fiberglass batt insulation, not spray foam, and we sheath the interior walls in LP SmartSide rather than drywall, a building that travels on a trailer and then sits on blocks does better with sheathing that flexes than with a rigid board that cracks. Premium upgrades also include roll-up garage doors, French doors, insulated windows, transom windows, faux rock skirting and loft additions. Workshop and Lofted Workshop styles include the 12" on center floor joist upgrade for heavier loads.
Fifty-two feet is the longest building we haul, and sixteen feet is the widest. Utility, Workshop and the Pioneer porch models run up to 16×52. Barn sheds and the Homesteader porch models run up to 14×52. The Cottage is its own thing at 10×16 through 10×24 and doesn't go wider than 10 feet. Small end of the line is 8×8.
