The floor sits on 4x6 pressure-treated runners notched an inch deep. Pressure-treated 2x6 joists drop into that notch at 16 inches on center, and every joist connection gets a 4-inch Simpson hurricane screw. Walls frame at 16 on center with a double interlocking top plate, and the studs double up every four feet so each piece of LP SmartSide has a full 2x4 to nail into. Trusses land at 24 inches on center with metal plates, and 6-inch Simpson hurricane screws run through the top plate into every truss on both sides. Mobile home anchors are included on Premium.
Select is a lighter build and doesn't carry the 150 mph print. Anchors are available on Select as an add-on.
Weather damage and acts of nature aren't covered under the workmanship warranty, on any building from anybody. That's what your insurance is for.

Delivery and setup are free within 50 miles of any Speedy Sheds lot, and most Jacksonville addresses land inside that radius. We also haul through this area on the routes running between our lots, so plenty of orders a little further out still deliver free. Tell your salesperson where the building is going and you'll get a straight answer before you order.
Your building sits on solid concrete block under the runners, set level before our crew pulls out. Delivery, setup and leveling are included in the price. The one thing we ask you to have on hand is the block. Standard setup is one block high using 4x8x16 solid concrete block, and you supply it before delivery day. A gravel pad or a concrete slab works just as well if that's what you'd rather have.
Anchoring is included with a standard setup on our Premium series where zoning calls for it, and it's a $50-per-anchor add-on on Select.
We need a clear path 2 feet wider than the shed on each side. Fenced yards work if the gate clears. Most Jacksonville residential lots have no issue.
